The Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle, is a Grade 1 race which can be entered by horses aged four years and older. The race is run on the New Course and runners have to jump 12 hurdles. It is a race for novice hurdlers.
The race was added in 2005, when the Festival became a four-day meeting. It was a Grade 2 race until 2008.
