Horses noted in running which could pay to follow – new entries are added in date order

Jadeyra Bet365 Maiden Fillies Stakes (Class 5) , Wolverhampton 6 October (7f)  Standard

Jockey Antonio Fresu 9st 10lb, 4th of 11, five-and-a-quarter lengths behind winner Muneyra 9st

Stepped up on a disappointing debut in August, running fourth beaten a shade under six lengths behind the long odds on Muneyra (same ownership), but showed enough to suggest she should be up to shedding her maiden tag before the year is out. She is a nicely bred daughter of Dubawi – out of a Shamardal mare, and maybe worth another try at a mile or possibly a little further. She’s no star but may still be worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks.

Zeyzoun (number four) finishing fast at Epsom

Zeyzoun Gary Sears 60th Birthday Celebration Handicap (Class 4) (3yo and up) Epsom 1 October (7f3y) Good, good to soft in places

Jockey Tom Queally 9st 3lb: 5th of 11, one-and-three-quarter lengths behind winner Lord Glenaghcastle 9st 4lb

Was the day’s Racing Hub Daily Tip – appeared not to enjoy the track but came with a run a furlong from home, had  to be switched and was closing at the finish, worth keeping an eye on

Strict Tempo British Stallion Studs EBF “Carrie Red” Fillies Nursery Handicap (Class 2) (2yo) Doncaster 13 Sept (6f 111y) Good

Jockey David Probert 8st 10lb: 2nd of 13, neck behind winner Stay Classy 8st 7lb

Twice denied a clear run, two furlongs from home and then again one furlong out, but once she was switched right and had her chance she showed impressive speed but the post came just in time for the winner – there’s undoubted improvement to come

Tuscan Pearl Inspire Racing Free Race Day Novice Stakes (Class 5) (3yo+) Windsor 3 Sept (1m3f 99yds) 1m3½f Good To Firm

Jockey Charles Bishop 8st 11lb: 6th of 9, nine-and-a-quarter lengths behind winner Lissitzky 9st 2lb

Looked much in need of the outing on what was her first start for some 310 days, ran with credit for a long way nonetheless to finish sixth of the nine runners, a shade under ten lengths behind the winner Lissitzky. Bred to appreciate middle distances and will hopefully prove up to shedding the maiden tag before the season is through

Mountain Angel Best Odds Guaranteed At 188Bet Handicap (Class 2) Sandown 1 Sep, 1m1f good, good to soft in places

Jockey: David Egan 9st 2lb: 2nd of 12, half-a-length behind the winner Dubai Horizon 9st 7lb

Awaited a gap that never materialised and he was forced out of position in order to get a run and was finishing well at the close but denied victory

Mustajeer Sky Bet Ebor Handicap (Class 2) York 25 Aug, 1m 6f good to firm

Jockey: Gary Carroll 9st 8lb; 4th of 20, just over 5 lengths behind the winner Muntahaa 8st 9lb

Taking on a new trip and was squeezed for room a furlong and a half out but ran on well

Heart of Grace Sky Bet Melrose Handicap (Class 2) York 25 Aug, 1m 5f good to firm

Jockey: Liam Jones 8st 2lb: 8th of 16, just over 4 lengths behind the winner Ghostwatch 8st 13lb

Making her handicap debut and wearing first-time cheekpieces, was held up and had to be switched to the outside at the two-furlong marker and was closing fast at the finish

Masaru Goffs UK Premier Yearly Stakes (Class 2) 23 Aug, 6f good to firm, firm in places

Jockey Tom Marquand 8st 11lb; 8th of 20, 6 lengths behind winner Red Balloons 8st 6lb

Impeded against the rails when laying down a challenge inside the final furlong having been slowly away and lack of room finished any chances
